In my works, I explore changes in the world around us. The pieces are intended as metaphors for a society in a state of constant change and vulnerability. Three aspects in particular seem to me to align well with your exhibition concept:
Anti-Idyll and Fragmentation
Through a particle-like, partly dotted painting style, I dissolve the pictorial space. Landscape does not appear as a harmonious unity, but rather as a process of deconstruction—a reference to the fragility of both ecological and social systems.
Psychological Dimension
Confrontation with an unstable, dynamic natural environment demands an inner assessment of one’s position. Themes such as flight, displacement, danger, and existential uncertainty come to the forefront in my work—regardless of social or cultural contexts.
Energy as a Structural Element
My works are characterized by states of tension on the verge of release. Energy functions here as a visual and thematic link—as a metaphor for contemporary social dynamics and the increasing loss of control over fundamental living conditions.
I understand my artistic practice as an exploration of those states in which stability tips over and hidden forces become visible.
